Hey, I’m Lokesh Sriram (AKA Loki), an engineering student who loves building things that bridge the physical and digital worlds. I’m drawn to problems where sensors, machine learning, and hardware come together to help machines understand their environment.

Currently working on nerve signal sensors at the NeuroMechatronics Lab with Professor Doug Weber at CMU, exploring how we can better decode signals from the human nervous system.

My hands-on research at Ray W Herrick Laboratories and TRACE Lab taught me how to take projects from initial concept through to working prototypes.

Outside the lab, I’m into weightlifting and boxing. I also spend a lot of time producing music, writing lyrics, and singing. When I can, I read manga and watch anime (currently reading “Kingdom”)

I’m here to build technology that genuinely changes how we interact with the world around us—and to enjoy the process along the way.
